Maundy Thursday trotting at Momarken

Experience the traditional trotting festival on Maundy Thursday at Momarken trotting track! This is one of the highlights of the year, where exciting trotting races and a great atmosphere create a unique experience. The party at Gammer'n opens at 12:30 p.m., and the first race starts at 3:00 p.m. Gather your friends and head to Momarken for a day filled with speed, excitement, and a festive atmosphere!

Family activities during Easter at Fredrikstad Museum

Fredrikstad Museum in Gamlebyen is open throughout Easter with activities for the whole family. Make flowers out of tissue paper in the flower workshop and experience history in Bar 1567 with sound and light. Follow the timeline through Fredrikstad's 450 years and see objects from the city's history. The exhibition “Østfold at War – Operation Polar Bear” provides insight into life during World War II. Children can solve missions in Agent Askeladden or search for clues in the mission Hund. At the back of the museum is the time machine, ready for new journeys through history. Read more
