Join a rebus trail about World War II in Gamlebyen, Fredrikstad. The trail starts at the Fredrikstad Museum and takes you through eight stations, where you collect letters to form a solution word. Fredrikstad and Østfold were among the first to be hit when Germany attacked Norway on April 9, 1940, and Gamlebyen still bears traces of five years of occupation. The tour takes about 45 minutes and is suitable for families with children.
