MS Brekke - Home Port: Brekke Locks

MS Brekke operates on a regular schedule during the summer months. The boat is available for charter and can carry 90 passengers. All boat trips include passage through the Brekke locks. Itineraries vary, so please check the website for the specific trip you’re interested in. Food and drinks are available for purchase on board.

MS Yrja - Home Port: Ørje

- Motorboat on the Halden Canal

MS Yrja will have its first season on the Halden Canal in 2026. The boat will operate on a regular schedule during the summer months. The boat is also available for charter. It can carry 47 passengers. The season begins on May 18 with charter trips and events. It will operate on a regular schedule from July 1 to August 2—twice daily, Wednesday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The name “Yrja” is the old name for Ørje and the Ørje River, and marks the boat’s new home in the Halden Canal. The boat is owned by Sluseporten AS.

DS Turisten - Home Port: Ørje

- Steamboat on the Halden Canal

The DS Turisten is also known as the “Queen of the Halden Canal.” It was sunk in Lake Femsjøen in the 1960s, raised in the 1990s, and returned to the waterway, fully restored, in 2009. Check the website and social media for information on upcoming boat tours. Tours are usually scheduled on short notice. The boat can carry 66 passengers.

DS Engebret Soot - Home Port: Ørje

The DS Engebret Soot operates lock-passage tours every Saturday and Sunday. The boat can carry 35 passengers.

Hvalerfergene - Øyhopping

- Motorbåt

Det trenger ikke være Hellas for å hoppe fra øy til øy! Hvalerferga tar deg med på en vakker runde i Hvalers skjærgård, med utgangspunkt fra Skjærhalden på Kirkøy. Fergen har flere daglige avganger, og turen kan tilpasses enten du ønsker en kort utflukt på under en time eller en lengre øyhopping over flere dager.

Prøven - Kornsjø

Prøven offers scheduled tours and charter trips. The boat carries a maximum of 10 passengers. Scheduled tours – Saturdays and Sundays from week 27 through week 31. Seats should be reserved in advance by calling (+47) 977 40 183. They operate charter trips on Lake Kornsjø from June through September. Trips must be booked no later than 6:00 p.m. the day before the trip; price: 1,500 NOK – Duration: 1 hour. They also offer a two-hour trip.
