Haldenvassdragets Kanalmuseum

paddling in Haldenkanalen or the lake which is connected to Haldenvassdraget offers somthing special. in the water channel there exists many locks which are fun to manuver your way through. in addition there has been sett up multiple shelters along the route that one can use to sleep over. magical and atmospheric! with Haldenvassdragets museum you can rent canoes and get out on the water for some hours. Ørje-river is by the way one of the most exciting places in Haldenkanalen, since the channel here is really tight and you get a fealing of being far away from civilisation.

Stora Lee Camping – cano and kayak

In Aremark you will find the lake Stora Lee, a fantastic place for paddling with canoes and kayaks. The lake is 80 km Long and Includes beatiful nature, small islands and rich animal life. visit Stora Lee campign to borrow a kayak.

Børtevann in Sarpsborg - beautiful nature surroundings

With børtevann you will find peace and quiet no matter what, but the experience becomes somthing extra if you experience it from canoe or kayak. Børtevann Canoe- and boat renting offers Canoes that are stable and safe on water, and is suited for everyone-- also those who dont have experience with paddling from before. This is a nice place to start if you want to try paddling.
