Fishing in lakes 

Fishing permits for lakes are managed/regulated by AJFF Halden and are sold at Billington Jernvare/Jernia. Tel: +47 69 18 05 55

Period: January 1 – December 31
Free fishing.

 


Ørsjøen:

Period: January 1 – December 31
Annual pass: NOK 100
Net fishing permit: NOK 200
Weekly pass: NOK 50
Vipps number is posted on signs by the lake.

Additional info: The net fishing permit allows a maximum of 4 nets of 25 m each. Nets must be labeled with the owner’s name. Guest permits apply to people accompanying the permit holder on fishing trips.

 


Berby lakes:

Period: April 1 – September 15
Season pass: NOK 200
Weekly pass: NOK 100

Applies to Svarttjern, Tatertjern, Kutjern, Trolldalsvann, Stutøye, Berby Langevann, Hestetjern, Otertjern, and Svarthulltjerna.

 


Ankerfjella:

Period: January 1 – December 31
Annual pass: NOK 200
Weekly pass: NOK 100

Applies to Mørtevann, Upper and Lower Sørvann, Angertjern, Elgtjern, Langetjern, Trettertjern, and Bjellåstjern.

 


General fishing rules:

  • Fishing is allowed with worm, fly, lure, and spinner

  • Only one rod per fisherman. The permit is non-transferable

  • Set lines are not allowed

  • Streams are protected all year round

  • Trout under the minimum size of 25 cm must be returned to the water unharmed whenever possible. Fish are measured from the tip of the snout to the middle ray of the tail fin

  •
