This year’s Viva Carnaval promises an extraordinary celebration, featuring a mask workshop led by Mexican paper artist Jonas Roman Cadena. Sports Cabins in Halden

There are also many great sports cabins in Halden that you can visit:

Venåshytta is a popular sports cabin. Here, the winter conditions are excellent, and the sledding hill is ready for fun. There are also opportunities for children to enjoy the climbing park. Inside the cabin, there is a dedicated playroom for the kids.

Ormtjernhytta is a sports cabin that is frequently visited during the winter season. The cabin is open on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and food and drinks are available for purchase. In the surrounding area, there are marked hiking trails and a lit trail. Around the lake, a beautiful path of about 0.8 km has been developed. Large and small trolls lurk along the trail, making this route very popular with children!

Ertehytta sports cabin is located along the lit trail in Ertemarka. The area offers beautiful hiking opportunities and a 7 km long lit trail. The cabin kiosk is open every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. At Ertehytta, there are great opportunities to take a break during your hike. Outside, you’ll also find barbecue facilities, a playground, benches, and a shelter.

Høyåshytta is located in Høiåsmarka, surrounded by a well-prepared hiking trail in the forest. The cabin is open for food and drinks on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Outside, there are barbecue facilities available. The most spectacular feature of the area is Høiåstårnet, a tower rising 18 meters above the ground.
