Fredriksten Fortress – Over 350 Years of Living History – From Norway’s Key Defensive Stronghold to One of the Country’s Most Spectacular Cultural Venues

Once Norway’s most important fortification, Fredriksten is today a popular recreational area and an international event venue. Guests can stay in the former barracks and dine in the old commandant’s residence.
