Sarpsborg offers a rich variety of sights and attractions. Explore the Bjørnstad Ship, the largest vertical rock carving in the Nordic region, measuring an impressive 4.5 metres. You can also discover other traces of the area’s earliest history, visit beautiful manor houses, churches and museums, or explore the city’s collection of classical and modern art.

In and around Sarpsborg, you will find more than 50 sculptures, including “The Bear” by Petter Hepsø and “The Log Driver” by Anne Grimdalen. There are also many works of art and cultural heritage sites outside the city centre. At Storedal Cultural Centre, sculpture, history and beautiful natural surroundings come together.
