There are many beautiful shelters along the Halden Canal, and it is the perfect place for many nice canoe trips along the canal and in the surrounding area. The Halden Canal is 80 kilometers long and offers beautiful nature and cultural monuments and three lock sites with a total of 8 lock chambers - Ørje, Strømsfoss and Brekke. Brekke has Northern Europe's highest connected lock stairs, with a lift height of 27 meters. Here you have a list of the shelters from Aurskog Høland and down to Halden.
