Take a dip!
Are you tempted to take a dip?
The region is full of trees and forests, but there is also a sea of water, lakes and ponds. Norway's longest river, the Glomma, flows through the region, and the Haldenvassdraget runs like a blue thread through the border municipalities. There are a number of prepared bathing areas and there are also good opportunities to take a dip in one of the many forest stars. The Fjella area is rich in idyllic places for both swimming and fishing, and there are several beautiful places along the Glomma, Lyseren, Øyeren, Rødenessjøen, Øymarksjøen, Aremarksjøen and Aspern. Klaretjern in Aremark is a pond that attracts attention from both swimmers and scuba divers with its crystal clear water and myths about the Klaretjernormen. But be careful with this place, so that it remains a wonder.
If you want more comfort, you can get well-being and well-being every day at Østfoldbadet. Here it is sun and summer all year round, and with the new outdoor facility the bath is one of Norway's finest and most complete water parks.
Saunas have become very popular recently. And we are lucky enough to have several of them. List further down.
Here you will find an overview of some of the developed bathing areas in Indre Østfold.
Enjoy the summer!
